I just had a thought, what if Downton Abbey was set under the arctic in a research station? Would it be less excruciating?

There was a BBC sf thingie a few years ago with arctic and subs and Downtowny actors. And that was pretty excruciating.

Jeri seemed to be camping it up something rotten that last ep. Talk about blatant nerd bait.

^I think it was her stupid costume that comically exaggerated her physic.

I may hunt down the Helix episodes that Jeri features in and then dump it - it's competently made on a superficial level and OK for a lot of cheap scares and off beam atmosphere, but six episodes in and loads of people have given up on it for being too plodding and too cliché, with supposedly highly intelligent and resourceful people not acting very smart.

It seems like with me hearing about Jeri Ryan's alleged scenery mangling overacting and being directly subjected to 270 minutes of Hiroyuki Sanada's painfully phoned in underacting, Helix seems pretty good at not getting the best out its more solid/talented cast members.

Please explain to me the difference in appearance of Jeri as a Full Borg, in Scorpion, or Jeri as some other type of Zombie?

Besides, one of the other characters is having lucid hallucinations and conversations with people who might as well be dead.

She was a full borg for two eps before they spray painted a silver suit on her, styled her recently regrown blond hair, and gave her an oh so artfully arranged platinum bit of bling over her delicate eyebrow.

A look that turned all the guys watching Voyager and a few of the ladies into drooling zombies as she strutted down the hallway with the best Star Ship Captain since Kirk!

So says me.
