I may hunt down the Helix episodes that Jeri features in and then dump it - it's competently made on a superficial level and OK for a lot of cheap scares and off beam atmosphere, but six episodes in and loads of people have given up on it for being too plodding and too cliché, with supposedly highly intelligent and resourceful people not acting very smart.
It seems like with me hearing about Jeri Ryan's alleged scenery mangling overacting and being directly subjected to 270 minutes of Hiroyuki Sanada's painfully phoned in underacting, Helix seems pretty good at not getting the best out its more solid/talented cast members.
