So episode 2 has been on, are we bothered yet about the constant references to Jar Jar Binks?

I think the new uniforms look like s&m outfits, what's up with the whips and the muzzles?
It was inspired by this book:

The Horta/Tribble lovechild was a bit sadistic, though. Such a soft, furry look, inviting unsuspecting humanoids to use it as a plush pillow, only to get severe burns from the acidic secretions from the fur. Once, for shock effect, was ok, but by the fourth incident, I can only think there is a cruel streak among the showrunners that will be difficult to stomach on a regular basis.

The best part was the final spin revealing Pine in his 09 uniform. Guess the sets and decor will be TOS redux, what with so much of the budget going to Pine.

It never occurred to me that a young Harry Mudd would be so thin. And ripped. And... well, you saw it, I don't need to say it.

It was about time they showed us how they cleaned the ship. Seemed kind of excessively wet though...

I liked it as a pilot but the sex scene didn't have to go on for 17 minutes. Seemed they could have used that time for something else..

I took that they played that so often for comedic effect.
