In honor of the truly brilliant and wonderful Leonard Nimoy, I went through all of the past articles as well as through my raw materials folders, and assembled a special double-plus edition so that everyone could look back with a smile.

I was fortunate enough to have met Leonard twice, through your standard fan encounters. The first occasion was 1998 at a book signing, promoting the "Alien Voices" line of audio books that he (and a number of other sci-fi and Star Trek actors) where part of. I was 13 or 14, and waited in line for a good 4 hours. It was worth it. When he came into the mall, you'd have thought it was any A-lister. A decade later I got to meet him again, seeing him and Bill Shatner on stage together at a convention just a few days before he'd be at SDCC announcing his participation and Zachary Quinto's casting in the 2009 film.
