Is it me or is the wood grain on Picard's Ready Room Desk more obvious than when we normally see it?
Plus, is the Brent Spiner one before TNG's run? He looks 25-30 in that one and he was pushing 40 when TNG started.
Yeah, I never noticed the wood grain quite that much before, under its proper lighting. [The rest of the ready-room looks rather, erm, cheap and dull with that lighting. Amazing what good lighting and a good camera operator can do to make a set look awesome]
And given the hairstyle Brent Spiner is sporting, I wouldn't be surprised if it was that old, from the early-to-mid-'80s maybe. That said, even in his '40s, his age didn't show much, and he still looked like a gorgeous babe even then. [author bias]
