Have a special treat for you folks this month. In addition to Rare Photos, I've got an issue of Ultimately Human as well. Been a long while since the last one of those, but the pickings became quite scarce.

Rare Photos: http://www.trekcore.com/specials/thumbnails.php?album=160

Ultimately Human: http://www.trekcore.com/specials/thumbnails.php?album=161

My Favs:
2nd Row, Right: Lunch on the set of Deep Space 9.

3rd Row Center: Picard's Ready Room aboard the Enterprise-D.

4th Row Center: Gary Graham goofs off.

6th Row Center: Leonard Nimoy directs the Search for Cigarettes -- I mean, Spock! :p

UH:
2nd Row, Right: DS9's Molly O'Brien, Hana Hatae.

3rd Row, Left: Composer Jerry Goldsmith

5th Row, Left: Nana Visitor

6th Row, Center: Terry Farrell.

Which are your favorites?

Cool

Is it me or is the wood grain on Picard's Ready Room Desk more obvious than when we normally see it?

Plus, is the Brent Spiner one before TNG's run? He looks 25-30 in that one and he was pushing 40 when TNG started.

Yay! I love it when you publish more of these! Thanks Frontier!

I'm curious if I'm the only one who's wondering if the Khan photo is left-right inverted. Something about it looks off to me. Am I wrong? (It wouldn't be the first time :rommie: )

Also, did anybody else have to read the page title to figure out who the Nana Visitor photo was?

So many production shots this month. Wonderful. My favourites this month are:

2nd Row, Right: A DS9 lunch,

6th Row, Centre: Nimoy smoke break, and

1st Row, Centre: Brooks directing Far Beyond the Stars.

Honourable Mention:

4th Row, Centre: Gary Graham (looks like a photobomb)

Ultimately Human:

6th Row, Centre: Terry Farrell,

2nd Row, Right: Hana Hatae poolside, and

3rd Row, Left: Jerry Goldsmith.

Honourable Mention:

1st Row, Right: Avery Brooks (love that jacket and tie)

Way to many good ones this time around. Not even going to try and pick one.

I like the Star Trek V shot (I just finished reading Lisabeth Shatner's book on the making of the movie, and I'm particularly interested in ST5 lately).

Nimoy's smoke break.

Frontier, is Trek Core your website? I've just discovered it for the first time and I really enjoy it! Good stuff, man!

No, not mine. Just a part of the team there. ;) One of the few still around from founding days, I might add. Think only 2 or 3 of us outside of the owners are still around from the founding.

I was briefly involved with TrekPulse before it, but the owners of that site kind of blew me/my ideas off. When it came crashing down and the bulk of the staff reformed as TrekCore, those new owners remembered me and my ideas and brought me in on the ground floor of it way back in November of 2005.

Weird to think it'll be 9 years soon we've been around. Rare photos have technically been around since 2006, too! I did the first issue - in a different format - back in the summer of 2006 for the 40th anniversary. Took about two years until I went with the current format.

We've grown a huge amount in the last year-plus, too. Our media stuff has been more or less set and available for years, but in the past year-plus we've been put on CBS's "we love you" website list, lol. Interviews up the wazoo, exclusive content, product and merchandise reviews.

I'm rambling now, but I'm proud, so sue me. :P

Still can't decide if Terry or Nana takes my breath away more. What a wonderful dilemma!

Gosh, that blooper shot of Nimoy, Shatner, and Doohan from "Spectre of the Gun" looks really familiar... Hmmmm... Where have I seen that before...

;)
