At the time I remember giving a lot of season one a free pass on account of it being the first original TV trek for about 15 years, but reviewing it later there really are some terrible episodes (I'm particularly looking at you Code of Honor & Justice).

    Some random S1 thoughts-
The Naked Now is pretty bad but does have continuity with TOS as a plus.
    Q is always watchable
Early style ferengi not as much fun as the uber-capitalists they became
    Conspiracy probably my favourite.

Interestingly, as a UK viewer I found out later the BBC edited down Conspiracy because they showed it in the early evening and considered some parts unsuitable for broadcast.

    I'm totally with you.

And it's interesting to note how standards have changed. Conspiracy is lightweight now compared to some things.

So true. The last time I saw Conspiracy was on a free-to-air channel at 5:00pm with no edits.

"Code Of Honor" is likely one of the worst thing, if not the worst, that has been produced in the ST franchise.
