Well, yes. Everyone in fiction is possibly homosexual. Just like anyone you meet in real life.

The on-screen evidence suggests both Kirk and Spock prefer the female of the species for fluid-swapping but who knows?

Well, there is *something* pointing that way. Apparently in the TMP novel, Spock uses a Vulcan word to describe the relationship. The thing is that same word means "Friend" "Brother" and "Lover". Soo.. it ain't impossible.
