Rank the Star Wars films

It's exactly the same. People just use it as a excuse to hate a film that wasn't what they felt they deserved, what being loyal Star Wars fans for years and feeling that the studio had to do as they wished. Or something like that. It was a fine piece of science fantasy stuff in a science fantasy movie. No need to get angry about it.
I liked all of the Star Wars movies and enjoyed Solo so I don't understand why you are assuming that I hated it and am angry at the studio. I ranked it last because it's the worst of the movies and I feel that cause it's full of pointless scenes like space train heist but I'm certainly not on of those keeper of the flame fans

The head against brickwall emoji might have given that clue.

1. Revenge of the Sith
2. Return of the Jedi
3. The Empire Strikes Back
4. A New Hope
5. Rogue One
6. The Phantom Menace
7. The Force Awakens
8. The Rise of Skywalker
9. The Last Jedi
10. Attack of the Clones
11. Solo

I rank The Phantom Menace so high because I've always really enjoyed the movie. Sure, Jar Jar can be kind of annoying as well as Anakin, but I actually enjoy watching Palpatine's schemes being put into motion. I may be an oddball, but I really love the politics of the prequels. That's also why I rank RotS and RotJ above Empire is because of Palpatine, whose my favorite character just because it's such a joy watching Ian McDiarmid hamming it up. If not for Palps, Rise of Skywalker would rank lower, but Palpatine saves the movie.

Maybe that emoji is alot harsher that I realized. I'm not very clued in with emojis.

Yeah, like fireproof78 said, that sorta gave me the idea of you being incredibly frustrated and angry. My apologies for interpreting that wrong. Emoji's are both awesome and flawed. Imagery and symbolism is tricky like that. What means one thing for someone, can mean something else for another. So again, sorry for misinterpreting that.

Might need a full rewatch to refresh my memory, but as it stands, this is how I'd rank them:
  1. Rogue One -- Taking a single line and turning it into a stand alone movie, with a great bunch of characters that shows that stories in this universe don't need a Skywalker or Jedi to tell great stories, as well as subvert expectations, they are at war and there are losses
  2. The Empire Strikes Back -- A more serious tone and dire situation for our heroes, really looks at why the Empire is the supreme power
  3. A New Hope -- A good space adventure, good versus evil, space wizards, plucky heroes
  4. The Force Awakens -- Yes it's pretty much just a retelling of A New Hope, but it captures a nice sense of adventure that appeals
  5. The Rise of Skywalker -- I don't get the hate this film gets, I enjoyed it though the re-emergency of Palpatine did come out of nowhere (something that really should've been worked into the background of the previous two films), but this is the first film that really allows the new characters to stand on their own
  6. Return of the Jedi -- When you actually look at it, the structure doesn't make much sense going from the rescue of Han right into the attack on the Death Star
  7. The Last Jedi -- The pacing is ruined with the casino segment and the overall story doesn't really add much to its trilogy, especially with all the reveals of what happened afterwards
  8. Solo -- It's very much 'meh', nothing terrible but nothing that stands out, as with all prequel stories it suffers from a lack of any real tension as we know Han, Chewie, Lando and the Falcon all survive
  9. Revenge of the Sith -- The best of a bad bunch
  10. Attack of the Clones -- An atrocious love story between characters with no chemistry
  11. The Phantom Menace -- It lacks a real narrative focus and suffers from a weak script

1) The Empire Strikes Back
2) A New Hope
3) Rogue One
4) Revenge of the Sith
5) Return of the Jedi
6) The Force Awakens
7) Solo: A Star Wars Story
8) The Phantom Menance
9) Attack of the Clones
10) The Rise of Skywalker
11) The Last Jedi

1 - 7 I could sit down and watch anytime. ESB and ANH are classics and will always be my absolute favorites. While not perfect, RO, RotS, RotJ and TFA are fun and engaging. Solo may not have been the best of the batch, it was a fun adventure and I've seen it a couple of times now. TPM and AotC are not horrible films, but I find myself fast-forwarding through many parts of the movie and just watching the lightsaber duels. TRoS and TLJ are movies I've watched only once and have no desire to do so again.
