It's always a little tricky fitting in Revenge of the Sith. It had some damn good moments - McDiarmid stole the show and the opening space battle was a delight. But then, there's a lot of the usual blarg that weighs down the prequels.

I find the good outweighs the bad. I would say it's worst offense, even more than the usual cringe, is how it sidelines Portman -- which (especially now) feels really regressive.

Return of the Jedi was my first Star Wars film so I'm probably a little more fond of it than I should be. The Empire Strikes Back never really clicked with me but it's definitely a better film than the first two prequels. And I think I'm maybe being a bit too kind to Solo. That film really wound me up with all its obnoxious references to other movies.

I thought the characters were the obnoxious ones, to be honest.

I mean, I was never a fan of Solo himself (even as an adult, he's kind of a jerk) but every time Tobias Beckett was on screen I was hoping he'd get punched in the throat. Now there's obnoxious.

Recently watched the original trilogy again for the first time in donkey's years:

1: The Empire Strikes Back
2: A New Hope
3: Return of the Jedi

So that's uncontroversial.

I haven't seen the prequel trilogy since each was at the cinema, but likely I'll rewatch before the Obi-Wan show.

I'll never watch the sequel trilogy again, excepting The Last Jedi.

Rogue One was pretty good. I actually like Solo.
