Rank the miniseries!

So, after this thread, I decided to go through and re-read all these, and I've been enjoying it tremendously...except that today, I hit Red Sector.

Oh my GOD this book is boring. Jesus Howard Christ the Third. I'm 3/4 of the way through, and an actual plot has just begun to develop. It's like everything so far has been one long incredibly awkward prologue.

And I've even liked Carey's entries in the other miniseries; Fire Ship, in particular, is my pick for best Janeway story ever. But lord God almighty this is dull.

Red Sector, like many of Carey's books, tends to be love it or hate it. (As I recall, I hated it.)

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

The Lost Era
Captain's Table
Section 31
Invasion!
New Earth
Gateways
Double Helix
A Time To...
Day Of Honor

For some strange reason, I also own 3 copies of it.

I went through a huge Star Trek period about when Double Helix was coming out, and then didn't really touch them for several years (outside of NF and DS9R), only to rediscover the rest recently. So I went into my closet and unpacked all my boxes of Trek books. 3 copies of it. Not a clue. The only other book I have multiple copies of is Q Squared, one HC and one MMPB.

My rankings:

Captain's Table (if only for Once Burned)
Invasion!
Gateways
Day of Honour
Double Helix

A Time To...

The gap is intentional.

Haven't read the others. These miniseries played a big part in driving me away from Trek fiction, though less due to their quality than the concept.
