Rank the 2000s Best Picture winners

I'm also a bit annoyed that it took a British guy directing for Hollywood to finally pay attention to Indian cinema (as much as this film can even be considered that).
Didn't Satyajit Ray get an honourary Oscar? Not much, but...

Ah, the honourary Oscar. It's a nice consolation prize, anyway. It was rather annoying when all Lauren Bacall and Roger Corman got to do during the actual ceremony was stand up and smile.

Ranking those I've seen...

1. Slumdog Millionaire
2. Chicago
3 The Departed
4. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
5. No Country For Old Men
6. The Hurt Locker
7. Gladiator
8. Crash

Great:
1. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

Good:
2. The Departed (2006)
3. Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
4. Million Dollar Baby (2004)

Crap:
5. Gladiator (2000)
6. A Beautiful Mind (2001)
7. Chicago (2002)
8. No Country For Old Men (2007)
9. Crash (2005)

Will watch for the first time sometime this week:
The Hurt Locker (2009)

Well, finally got around to watching The Hurt Locker, and I'd put it right under Million Dollary Baby, but still in the 'good' category. I expected a bit more out of it to be honest, but it's not like it was bad. Kind of a noodle scratcher as best picture, but then again, most of these movies were.
