Placed an order on Walmart.com, they offered next day delivery so I said why not. Turns out someone is driving my order to me from an out of town store (we don't actually have a Walmart in my city) 30 minutes away. I'm assuming there are multiple orders being delivered even if it's not on a level of Amazon's volume, otherwise what a waste of time and gas. It's also being delivered from a store that the website said didn't have it in stock. If I knew it was in stock, I would've just gone to get it myself.

Well, it's not optimal usage of an "enormous" screen when a production doesn't fill it up. It's no big deal when there are good reasons, like, the material was originally produced for a different kind of screen (like movies for the silver screen or old tv productions for 4:3 tubes -- in those cases, it's an acceptable compromise. But it's no justification for deliberately wasting the potential of the screen something is produced for, imo).
And so far I've only heard very vague, unspecific rationalizations like "creative reasons" (which would that be?! And why were there no 2.35:1 tv productions in 4:3 times when it's apparently such a big creative matter?).
So I think it's either they think people are stupid and get a "cineatic" feeling just because something is letterboxed, or they want to save streaming bandwidth.

Could be the type of washing machine--if the agitator in the middle of the machine is coming loose, the clothes that get caught in the bottom can get damaged. If it's a front loader, they might be getting caught on the door, or something. Or your hot water heater is getting WAY too hot.
Or insects. What are those things that like clothes as snacks? Ah, silverfish they are common in Australia and love hiding in wardrobes and snacking on clothes
Guess it depends how inexpensive. If the cost time them is likely to be as much or more then maybe not.
That said you could drop them an email and give them the choice but I definitely wouldn't be doing anything other than that, I'd be wanting them to arrange collection at a convenient time for me.
I'm usually honest but sometimes it backfires. Last year in cape verde, in a restaurant a bottle of wine had been left off the bill, so we chose to tell them, wish we hadn't as was met with huffs and puffs and took them an age to sort it.

1. I have to admit, at first I assumed that was a joke/photoshop, but a quick look into it seems to show it’s real. I guess I would try it, but it is a little disappointing how little pizza you get on your pizza, due to the size of the crust.

Two of my colleagues are Christian. They were talking about mass yesterday. One said: "The priest said people don't pray enough these days."and I was like, "That's what he's talking about? Not the fact that LGBTQIA rights are being threatened? Not the war in Ukraine or Gaza? Not about the shit going on in America? I'm playing the world's tiniest violin!"
Some shows that move from network TV to streaming will crank up the violence or swearing, and there will always be some viewers who are vocal about not liking this, most recently with Law & Order: Organized Crime. But a show like Criminal Minds, which dealt with sadism and depravity and killed characters in cruel, violent and gruesome ways every episode for 15 straight seasons on CBS moves to Paramount+ and it's the swearing that upsets you?
Yeah that's a bit odd now. I've got the big box set of all 15 seasons. Have watched the whole thing once so far.
Actually have a question about that.
In my set season 1 and 2 have episode titles on the DVD menus but every season after that only has episode numbers. Like disk 1 of season 3 has 1, 2, 3, 4 instead of episode names. Like why would the individual volumes be so different?
