Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I recall it as being fairly controversial.

Per Wikipedia:
The series centres on the lives of the Cleary family from the 1920s until the 1960s, who are brought from New Zealand to the Australian outback to help run the ranch of their aunt Mary Carson, and the forbidden love between Meggie Cleary and the family's priest, Father Ralph de Briscassart.

Richard Chamberlain has passed away at the age of 90. I don't think I've seen anything he's been in, but I do remember back when network TV movies and miniseries were a big deal I'd see ads for his shows all the time. He was also the first actor to play Jason Bourne.

Never saw his Bourne, but Shogun and his King Solomon movies I did. Probably others, but I'd have to look.

Yeah he was a grown adult and she wasn't even a teenager and while i don't think there was anything illegal sex wise he was essentially grooming her until she was old enough. From what I remember anyway.

How we measure time is a purely cultural convention, invented by us humans. Therefore we do get to choose what time it is. Except that it's best if we can all agree on what time it is.
Interdependency is very important.

Though, the ancient Egyptians are credited as one culture establishing 24 hours in a day but had a 9 day work week. So, even in history agreeing on time is not easy ;)

You ever been unable to find something that's right in front of you? Looking for something in a black container, there's a black container on my desk but I'm positive it's for something else. It's not. It's the one I'm looking for.

Yeap, that’s practically synonymous with looking for your glasses for over an hour, then realizing they’ve been on your head the whole time…

Cheers,
