Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I always thought that was intermission when you made out with your date without missing out on the movie. Different times. So sad.
Can I ask what makes it sad?

I have no issues with nudity, certainly have seen various forms in films across the years, including older films from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, as well as the 90s. It's not something that I go "Oh, no, nay, never." and clutch my pearls. To me, the nude body is not something titillating. It's not even that interesting because we all have it. Same with skeletons. They are not that scary.

I've done films with intermissions, and enjoy those just fine. Is there some value here that I'm missing?

What happened to nudity in movies? Watch most 80s films, and you’ll have your random nude scene with bad music. The scenes were almost random. Now, they’re gone. I don’t get it.
The place to go for nudity these days tends to be premium cable, although they seemed to have toned it down quite a bit since the days of Game of Thrones and Spartacus. And quite a few streaming shows still have a bit of nudity.
One nudity related thing I mentioned in the thread for Gen V that I've noticed is that we seem to be getting a lot more male full frontal nudity these days than we use to. I'm not bothered by it, but I do find it an interesting trend that, we seem to be seeing more naked guys and less naked ladies these days. Just in Gen V alone there 3 or 4 scenes of full frontal male nudity, but no female nudity at all.
Seven would definitely not have the same costume today.
Which I'm grateful for, they were stupid costumes, and they practically suffocated poor Jeri Ryan.

I had my first noise complaint, which is impossible. I rarely make noise, certainly not after 10 pm, unless it's snoring.

Probably just the building. I've lived in places the neighbours below would lodge complaints all the time about me, or anyone else in the place, stomping. We just walked normally, the building sucked.

Could be misophonia too, my bf has it and the neighbour of my ex before my ex moved. She once complained about the fact that the hamster wheel made too much noise.

OMG you lucky thing.

The Corrs were in Adelaide apparently but I don't recall any advertising for the show or I would have gone.

Also The Sphere has its own fan club online.

A friend of mine had Misophonia. If her husband drummed his fingers on the table, or hummed, she would overreact and scream at him. She couldn't stand noises like that. Drove him nuts, but she couldn't help it. She died from Huntington's Chorea and I wonder if that was involved in her condition. She finally lost her mind totally at the end.

The Sphere looks like an incredible venue. If I ever go to Vegas, I'd love to see a concert there.

Struggling to keep awake this afternoon. Maybe I'll make another sodastream in the hopes to stay awake for now.

It ought to be it cost a few billion to build.

Well hey we had our annual Christmas pageant here and I woke up too late to go. Next year but we had a good attendance with approx 300,000+ people lining the route to see the floats and stuff.
