I've never had one. I guess I'm missing out.
Yes, you are. Sorry. But then again, we don't have:

... so it all evens out.

But wait! What seasonally-themed confection recently hit store shelves?

I've never had one. I guess I'm missing out.
I'll give you one more "advantage Canada": In Canadian restaurants they bring the credit card reader to your table. Your card never leaves your hands the whole time you're paying.
Why the fresh hell don't more places down HERE do that?![]()
Multiple places in my area are, including Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, among others.I'll give you one more "advantage Canada": In Canadian restaurants they bring the credit card reader to your table. Your card never leaves your hands the whole time you're paying.

There are people on Earth that are literal trillionaires .... That is just an insane amount of wealth that no human can possibly use in a lifetime.
I'd sure as hell give it a whirl!
Gotta love recipes with weird, hard to find ingredients.
What happened to nudity in movies? Watch most 80s films, and you’ll have your random nude scene with bad music. The scenes were almost random. Now, they’re gone. I don’t get it.
So sad. Basic Instinct wouldn’t be made today. There are some good articles about it, and some less good social media discourse. In the States audiences are becoming more and more prudish and more plot focused - plot is now the priority over everything else, and nudity is atmospheric and character development and titillating - but it doesn't further the plot, so it's being deemed "unnecessary" and exploitative by a bigger fraction of the audience. Movies with nudity are being crticized for it more and more if they can't "prove" it's integral to the plot. Violence is acceptable because it is important for the plot. And parents are happier to show their kids Rated movies rates due to violence but with no nudity.
I always thought that was intermission when you made out with your date without missing out on the movie. Different times. So sad.Plot necessity over nudity.
The 90s tried to do this too and rarely did it feel like it flowed naturally to the plot.

Seven would definitely not have the same costume today.Seems like a really weird Hill to die on. But it's true like @bdub76 said, movies like Basic Instinct which had a definite tone and visual look would not be made today and directors would be very sqeamish to make one.
So glad I still have a small collection of 80s movies like that.
I don't see that as a bad thing.Seven would definitely not have the same costume today.
