Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

When my phone rings, it says who's calling. If it's an unknown or blocked number, it'll say that. Last caller had nothing so I didn't answer. Is that a glitch or someone they did on their end? Didn't even show up on the missed calls.

I have my phone set to silence unknown callers. If it's important, they'll leave a voicemail.

This past week I started pulling the mattress sheet from my top corner while sleeping. Have no idea why. As far as I know I'm not having any nightmares. Then later in the week I started pulling it from my bottom corner too.

You've been watching too many heart-breaker MLB baseball games my friend, I know the 'hair-pulling' feeling.

twice in the last week I've woken up with two different Phil Collins (actually mid-80s Genesis) songs stuck in my head...
I think I must have heard them playing in a store or something and didn't realize it since those are not at all my typical go-to tunes....
Happened again. Twice. With different songs. On non-consecutive days. Did I mention that I don't and never have listened to Phil Collins. Weird. Anyway, the other two songs were Easy Lover and Sussudio.

Must be something lodged in the recesses of my psyche from middle school when this stuff aired incessantly.

White neighbor told the black kids playing in front of his house to scram and threatened to call the cops. Technically, the grass area in front of his house isn't his property. It's open space that's taken care of by the HOA. Wondering if this was racially motivated or not.

Probably not.

No one wants a bunch of kids playing on their front lawn. That’s why we have parks. Of course, as an 80s kid, I did it all the time. Not a problem now that I have rocks instead of grass.

My last neighborhood I lived in the kid’s parents had them in so many extracurricular activities to stack their university applications that I never saw any kids.
