Supervising ESL test scoring today. One poor test-taker was trying to describe early humans using stone tools to prepare food, and how stone knives were used in the preparation; the preparing of food damaged the knives, etc.
Only this poor student didn't know the word for prepare and kept saying "prepuce" instead.

Oppenheimer IS a great film. I like it more every time I think about it.

I stopped to visit with one of one of the horse ladies on my bike ride this morning, and our conversation took a bit of an odd turn.
While I was petting her horse and talking to her his penis "dropped" and she pointed it out, and we discussed it for a few minutes. Not in a weird or creepy way, just a very casual matter of fact way, not all that different from how had been discussing the weather earlier.
It didn't really strike me until I was riding my bike away that some people might find it odd that we were so casually discussing her horse's penis, while it was hanging out barely a foot away from my leg.
It's a pretty common thing with male horses, so you get used to it when you're around them enough.

I found out a little more about the police activity. I didn't get much but they asked us about a white car that was parked for a couple days. I guess they found something suspicious with it, but they were here for a long time today.

Depends on manufacturing. For the longest time, when I did retail, we could not get in 22LR (extremely common) or 5.56 because several law enforcement agencies were purchasing it up, and manufacturers reduced their runs of 22 to meet the demand.
Just because it's common doesn't mean that production can meet demand.

I recommend reloading. It’s the only way I made shooting 45 affordable. Find a class at your local range. It’s a money saver, and you don’t have to worry about buying.
