Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Why does wet weather seem to make some drivers go crazier then usual on the road?

One could say that about all the ass-holes in SUV's that think they are invincible in the snow like them dudes in commercials.

As for rain, don't hit an oil spot on the road after a rain, spun out done that.

OMG over here it happens nearly every time. Going to the city in a car in rain and everyone seems to go nuts as soon as the rain starts

Some people at my job are real jerks. Thank God we only work online and I don't have to see these people. I would for certain say something that would probably get me fired.

Whoever invented "rain sensing wipers" deserves a serious beating. Are people really that fucking lazy that they can't operate a SWITCH? :wtf:

These kids today! When I was a pup, and now, we knew how to press the pedal to the Metal and at the same time flip on the wipers.

btw, I think most of this auto-fuckin'-matic crap is Bullshit.

Speaking of asshole drivers, I had one almost hit me while I was on my bike ride this morning. I was already going through the intersection, with the walk sign, and out of nowhere a SUV turned into the intersection and stopped barely 4 or 5 feet away from me. It scared the shit out of me so bad I almost fell off my bike.
I don't know if they didn't look before they turned or if they were just so impatient they didn't want to wait to let me finish crossing.

And you try and tell the young people of today that...and they won't believe ya!

Pussies, I had to walk to school 5 miles uphill both ways... in the snow.

I've been in too many situations where the rain in isn't falling at a consistent rate where the intermittent settings don't work or I'm having to constantly hit the wipe once.

Animals are difficult. My daughters cannot figure out how animals can completely love me (and they do. Our chickens followed me everywhere as I did chores. Dogs warm to me almost instantly) and yet I do not enjoy them. I will love on them, pet them, etc, but I do not enjoy them.

I guess they are sometimes like humans for me too. Sometimes humans are too much, animals are too much and everything just needs to be quiet. Like a plant.

I've always adored cats. I come from a family of ailurophiles. I don't dislike dogs, but I'm not crazy about them. Dogs, however, seem to like me. Maybe I smell of meat.

I don't own a pet, and never will. I'm not morally judging pet owners, I'm just not destined to be one. (This is also my attitude towards being a dad. Never wanted kids OR pets.)

Besides I work 9 hours a day and I won't leave an animal alone in my house for that long.

That being said, I do love cats. When I was in college I used to hang out at a bookstore near the campus and they had a cat.

And also i'm going to buy Travis and SIgrid's book when it comes out this summer!

Nothing wrong with knowing your limits.
