Reflecting on falling asleep last night to the continuing roar of afterburners from the nearby military air base doing touch and go's. They must have been a hellava sight to adversary satellites flying over.

That is conventional wisdom, but I've never been one to be conventional. If John McClane had dropped a brick on a terrorist's head from 50 feet up, the guy's brains would have been chunk salsa. Ergo, since Kevin did the exact same thing, it should be scored the exact same way.

Ironically, I classified HA2's traps and attacks into three categories:
Lethal - This will probably kill the target.
Incapacitating - The target will probably not be capable of violent action after this.
Painful - The target will be hurt, but will probably remain a threat.
No fewer than 15 of Kevin's traps or attacks were classified as Lethal (multi-story falls, explosions, electricity, and that shower of bricks to name a few). However, throwing birdseed on someone and having pigeons attack them was classified as merely Painful: as long as you protected your eyes, the pigeons would probably only inflict superficial damage before you could beat them off. So basically, after surviving injuries severe enough to kill over a dozen healthy adults, Harry and Marv were defeated by something relatively survivable.
If he had not overcome such difficult obstacles it would not have been as dramatic or his actions as heroic.

Yeah... Die Hard 2 actually managed to pack five inconsistencies into one line of dialogue.
MCCLANE: "Luggage? That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines here and it costs more than what you make in a month!"
1. Glock Inc. does not and never did make a Model 7.
2. Glocks do not use porcelain, but polymer and steel (a novelty at the time, but old hat today)
3. Glocks were made in Austria.
4. Glocks were picked up by both airport X-ray machines and metal detectors.
5. Given their price at the time, an airport head of security could have bought one with two days' salary.

It was still a cool line. I don't ing CARE how unrealistic it is or how many details it gets wrong.
