We have no idea.

I mean, I'm sure there is a Species 001, but we don't know what it is.

(It's not humans...that much we DO know. Humans are Species 5618.)

The books and comics have offered several different origins for the Borg, the only one I'm familiar with is the one in the Destiny novel trilogy. It's to complicated to try to cover in this post though.

And we were constantly fiddling with the color controls to keep faces from going green or purple. (On the TV screen, I mean.)

On a totally unrelated note, all modern microwave ovens have turntables to ensure the food cooks evenly. So why do the directions on frozen microwave meals tell you to stop part-way through cooking, stir or rearrange the food, then finish cooking? Not only that, but sometimes the directions are oddly specific, e.g. "Rotate the meat patty 90 degrees clockwise." If I rotate it counterclockwise, will the food explode?

The stiring is because the stuff on the outside tends to heat of faster, so you want to stir it to help it get cooked evenly, not sure about the others though.
I wiped out on my bike ride this morning, and ripped the shit out of my right hand so bad I could barely hold my fork while eating lunch.

It's a peddle assist bike, and I was looking down at my controls for the motor and watching to my right for traffic and didn't see a garbage bin on my left and crashed into it. My left hand isn't to bad, just a few little holes, but I ripped two bigger holes on the wrist of my right palm, and then a bunch of little ones where it meets me thumb. I almost took pictures and posted them, but I was afraid it might upset people.

Finally got rid of the god damn plumbers!

Three fucking weeks of trying to get these asshats to do three basic jobs--and having to call ANOTHER plumber to fix things they messed up--but now it's OVER. Now we can actually use our main bathroom, instead of being crammed into the little guest bathroom.

I already gave up anything made with pigs a while back, and as of this morning I have given up beef too. I can't eat chicken, so I'm down to seafood as the only meat I eat.
I can't give up dairy though, I just love my ice creamm cheese, sour cream, ect. too much.

Lmao! I can totally see how it looks that way. I think the answer is it's just the way the creators thought it up, but I was just thinking about the differences earlier. I think I've seen Batman written as Bat-Man too
