Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Out driving today, and a light was yellow that I decided to run. Should've stopped but I didn't, so I ran a yellow/mostly red light. Then I notice a vehicle about 20 feet behind me who definitely ran the red.

Later on, the right lane is slow because everyone is getting off the freeway. A car two lanes over speeds past everyone and then just forces his way onto the off ramp, causing everyone to slam their brakes.

YOU caused a unfortunate chain of events ........ Eat that probability

Happy Birthday @auntiehill .

Had a nice birthday today. We went to the Museum of Fine Art and climbed all over the Ernesto Neto "environmental" sculpture. It was a lot of fun, Then we looked at the American Arts & Crafts exhibit and the new modern exhibit. We stopped at our favorite pizza place and also went to our favorite bakery -- we hardly ever get to either place because we don't go into the city much anymore. So our dinner tonight was awesome. We then watched two episodes of The Mandalorian.

A pretty nice day.
Happy Birthday!

I never went to any of my reunions, no one has really changed and the jerks were still obnoxious jerks from people that did attend. The last one ended in a fight.

I'll add to that one guy received a broken nose and two girls also got into it with each other.

Eating Fusilli today for lunch, or spiral pasta as I call it, but I can pretend its space grubs on a faraway mining station.

EDIT: Isn't this what they used as a prop in the TNG episode Conspiracy?

^ IIRC, the actors actually ate chow mein noodles.

Real worms were used for close-ups, though.

I go to any of my high school reunions that happen to occur, but I never stay long. My friends have all moved away, and I rarely know any of the people who do turn up.

I only go in the first place in a feeble attempt to recreate the glory of my high school career....hell, to be alive AT ALL in the 1980's was itself a beautiful thing, and to be in high school in the 80's was extra special.

Plus, I was a band geek, and I'm always up for revisiting that.

I'm glad someone had a good time in high school. I graduated in 1984 and if I'd been in any longer, I'd probably have killed myself. It's why I completely got the "high school on the Hellmouth" concept of BtVS. :)

I don't know why, but the concept of a toilet and a washer and dryer being next to each other weirds me out. Never seen it in person though, but I've seen pictures when looking at homes.
