I'd say a good 98% recovery. When walking I can't lift my feet properly, so kind of drag them.

Packing to go on a 900 mile drive tomorrow morning. I'll be in Illinois for about a week. Yikes! There might not be room for ME in the car at this rate. A Chromebook, a suitcase of clothes, a bag of toiletries, a bag of shoes, a bag of snacks, and a miscellaneous bag with books and needlework, etc, and my big travel purse. Of course I need it all, especially the books.

You have my sincere condolences. Many of my closest friends whom I knew from kindergarden thru high school and beyond have passed. It becomes "easier" as time goes by, but I miss them so...

But when I think of them and our times and the dumb-ass stunts that we pulled off together, all I can do is smile and then wipe away a reluctant tear. We were closer than myself and my own widdle brother.
