Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Apparently, John Lennon once said that 2001: A Space Odyssey should be shown in a temple, on a continuous loop, 24/7.

I'd be up for that. It's my favorie movie of all time

I think I might have finally figured out the culprit behind my mysterious sound I kept hearing a few months back. I went on another bike ride, just for fun, not trying to figure out the sound, and I noticed what looked like a donkey in the backyard of one of the houses in the first stretch right across the street from my neighborhood. I couldn't get a real clear look, because it was pretty far away, but it was shorter than a horse and had big long ears, so I'm pretty sure it was a donkey or maybe a mule. I love how you always manage to answer a question like this after you've given up trying to find the answer.

Years ago my cat made me fall down the stairs and I broke my big toe. As I lay at the bottom of the steps in great pain, I hollered to my husband (in bed upstairs) that I had fallen down the stairs. His sweet sympathetic answer....Well, what do you want ME to do about it? He will never forget this because I won't let him.

Nor should you.

Q: What do a person blinded by the darkness of prejudice and a person blinded by the light of wokeness have in common?

A: They're both blind.

What do all people who equivocate being a bigot and being a little overzealous in their denouncing of bigots have in common?

They make absurd self serving comparisons between two problems of incredibly different magnitude.
