A Muslim fanatic... Incidentally, book burning is something fanatics like to do. The Nazis for instance did a lot of that. Fortunately, since the invention of the printing press, it is almost impossible to completely destroy a book especially one that means a lot to people.

Actually, the Greeks, Romans, Christians and Muslims all played a part in destroying the library. Each in turn found some threat among the library's volumes and each destroyed those that offended them. The Christians were the worst offenders. The Muslims were merely the last - they finished it off.

Well. The first Americans are getting vaccinated and the Electoral College is currently voting. The sad news is that in some states, electors are being escorted to their polling places by armed guards because their lives have been threatened.

• You can hide your own Easter eggs
• You're always meeting new people
• You're always go to new places
• All TV shows are not re-runs
• You can buy your own presents and be truly surprised when you open them

I miss when big name magicians did TV specials or other stuff. You don't see much of that on TV anymore. Thank goodness for youtube.

It's amazing how much a difference wind, or a lack of it, can make in how hot or cold it feels outside. I think the temperature was probably lower than yesterday on my morning dog walks this morning, but since there was a lot less wind, I didn't feel nearly as cold.

There was a cheap item I wanted from Target but I didn't want to pay 50 cents for the bag which they charge when you place an in-store pickup order, so I bought it online along with some other stuff for delivery. Turns out that cheap item is actually being FedExed from the store I would've gone to, which means it's costing them more than 50 cents to send it to me.
