I think I've only opened champagne once and I was worried about hitting something or someone. I put a plastic grocery store bag over the end of the bottle while I was opening it and the bag caught it. No fuss, no muss.

I really can't stand champagne.
The first time I bought a universal remote control, I thought to myself "This changes everything".

I just got a new TV, which happens to be Sony (like my soundbar and BluRay player). So the TV's remote already controls everything else without needing to be programmed. It'll even control my AppleTV!

I still say 2020 is a cool date. But it really has sucked. With the virus to worry about and now all the smoke, awful fires across 3 states and all the smoke in the air here from all that. It is scary! Crazy! I mean Australia had there fire then the virus, we had the virus in the States arrive and now the fires! We are still locked down but can do a few things like go to a store. But not much else.. Scary times...

I've seen some weird s**t posted on Trek-BBS, but that tops them all.
I was just on a short local trip with my mother, my first real time off since COVID.
Here's an example of her anxiety.
Me: "I think I might have been stung by a jellyfish."
Her: "Oh my God, do you think it was a Portugese Man o War? DO WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL?!"
