Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I am thinking when this whole virus thing is over. I wonder what date will be picked to remember it each year? I mean there should be one, this is huge! Right?

who wants a 'we nearly all died day'?

i don't think anybody will need a national holiday (too much work to be done) and after that everybody will insist on the right to forget it.

i do hope that enough bean counters buy a farm, because if they don't that 'waste of money' nonsense will start all over again at the first anniversary of 'having survived it'.

it may sound rude or cynic but there are groups of people who need to be hit hardly to change sth. (anybody who needs more info, please put it to a pm).

Well, if it was a war, we'd celebrate the day peace was declared. Oh, were it that simple for a pandemic. I doubt we'll have any specific day where we can comfortably declare this ended. Just as the cases ramped up, they'll probably taper off in some manner, after some ups & downs, with even the possibility of a few last spikes to terrorize people, that it could breakout again, toward the end. That said, judging by the odd attitude we've encountered in government, I unfortunately suspect that we'll be told that it's over at least a few times before it actually is.

Plus, we know so little about this as of now, that it's still up in the air (No pun intended) as to whether this will be a seasonal yearly event. Now, even if that were the case, we'd be working our asses off to have a vaccine asap, & I'd like to think we'd be MUCH better prepared for subsequent outbreaks, than we were for this one, because everyone agrees that we very much weren't. Honestly, I'm just hoping that by some turn of good fortune, we'll be independent by Independence Day, & I can go to a beach, with other people around & have that be cool.

I also fervently hope that when we do have a vaccine, some time down the line, at the risk of sounding controversial here, any of those anti-vaxxers get treated to as potent a societal backlash as we saw with the #MeToo movement, because we will now know just how dangerous their call to action can be to holding our society back.

I'll tell you what I'd like to celebrate, the day that somebody has the legit vaccine to put out, I don't think they ever named a day for Jonas Salk, for his polio vaccine, but they treated him like a king from that day forth (Much to his dismay)

This is the most worthless zombie apocalypse EVER.. I mean you're not even allowed to shoot the braindead...
