Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I hear terrorists are trained to kill someone with a carpet cutter with a blade of only a few centimeters. They can bleed a person to death in a couple of minutes.

Sort of resemble... I mean no one who's seen an actual grenade from up close, such as yours truly, could mistake that for the genuine article.

No, but some older guy out of the corner of his eye.

Or I suppose terrorists could try to build grenades that look like them. :)

:ack: holy ghost, are those coke guys just nuts? :guffaw:

it's not about the dude who bags it - it's about the dude who finds it in the bag.

... and on first sight and never having had an actual grenade in that dude's hand (conscription is gone since when in the us?) it definately is kinda scary

methinks those nOObs at coca cola corporation got no clue either

It's not supposed to look like an actual grenade; it's supposed to look like a fictional "thermal detonator" from Star Wars.

If a layperson on a plane saw that, mostly concealed in someone's hand or clothing, it's close enough to cause a panic or stampede to get away from it if thrown. Not that there's any great likelihood of that happening, but I can see the TSA's point of view of this one. Plus, in an x-ray scan you wouldn't see the colors or lettering, so that might be alarming to a screener.

I stumped a salesman trying to sell something to me. I was at Best Buy and there was a Dyson rep in the vacuum section showing off the brand and answering questions. I told him I already owned a Dyson, and when he asked if there was anything I didn't like about it, I knew he was setting me up for a pitch about what their latest version has to offer. My response was that for how little I use it, I was disappointed in spending as much as I did and should've bought a cheaper, older model. That didn't give him any opening to pitch me the latest and most expensive model.

Currently, the extent to which my back hurts. It’s almost definitely posture related, but what can I do.
