I was preparing my lunch this morning to take to work. While doing so, a bird landed on the fence outside my kitchen window. I thought to myself, “Ooh, a robin! Pretty!”

At which point it immediately pooped on the fence, then flew off.

I feel that this is somehow a metaphor for my life.

We regularly have a Robin visit and he won''t leave you alone if you're in the garden. He constantly chatters away at you and even perches on the lawnmower as you're trying to cut the grass

The poopers generally seem to be the magpies that turn up.

Robins are huge pains in the ass. At dawn (0400 here) they start their extremely loud songs and are guaranteed to wake you up. I hate waking up at 0400.

Personally, I am just glad I hear birds in the morning and not traffic noises. I used to live in a big city and for a while, I had to. I moved to the countryside the first chance I got.

I don't "hear" neither frogs, birds, Bats or playing children even if they are real noisy - these are natural noises, noises that help me to sleep

I hear children who weep, scream or sob and I'm awake in a split second if my subconscious knows there are children and the can't be heard at all.

Either something horrible did happen or more likley they ar plotting mischief

My god pretty much walks itself. I let him free in the property and he never tries to escape. Well, suffice it to say, the motivation isn't there. One thing that I appreciate with this dog is that he only poops where he knows it's ok.
