Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Sorry, it's something that seems to be exceptionally frowned upon on this forum, and for good reason.

I didn't say what it is by name because I don't need to know how bad and evil and etc. and etc. it is. I already know.

What? Don't tell me you're putting good wine in the fridge!!! That would be too horrible!;)

basicly white and rosé should be chilled
You'd recoil living in Queensland, the Summers are so humid and hot a lot of people put their red wine in the refrigerator! Or should I say their casks (box wine)

I like bubbly myself but for some reason have become less physically tolerant to any kind of alcohol of late.

I woke up today with "owner of a lonely heart" in my head,
ahh.. the 80's :luvlove: i'm stuck there.

Edit:
it's gonna be an 80's day today...

That's a great one. Also, "Changes" by Yes, one of my favorites.

I had "Behind Blue Eyes" stuck in my head because of an image post... a parody on Batman.

Since Roger Daltrey sang the vocals on it... felt compelled to make this:

For whatever reason wine gives me worse after effects than beer and liquor. Maybe because good beer and scotch don’t have impurities but wine still has sulfites and histamines.

I’m usually ok with red wine, but white wine gives me a bad head. Nothing is quite as bad as gin though.

I don't drink wine except champagne. I found that if I drink good booze ( I drink only Scotch and vodka) and drink it straight, I get no bad after effects. I drink Ketel One vodka and single malt Scotch only and the only thing I add to either is ice. Sometimes I will put a cocktail olive or onion in the vodka.

I only drink on very rare occasions and when I do, the quantities are way too small to cause any lingering effects.

It's possible. I've noticed that if I drink too much wine, I'll tend to get a headache. And more than 2 full glasses of white wine on a nearly empty stomach will make me feel uncomfortable. But beer? No problem at all. It might be the sulfites or a reaction from the aged liquid (caused histamines to release). Beer fermentation time is much shorter.
