Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Why do we have to gather all our information and put it all into ridiculously involved and tedious forms and sent it all to the government, when you know they have all this info already and could just send us a bill. Guess what I'm doing at this moment, sigh

When life gives you lemons, form a deep seated hatred of lemon trees, form a complex conspiracy theory about how people who drink sour drinks are trying to destroy civilization, run for office, and pass a bill making lemons illegal.

Trading one possibility for another.

I'm considering purchasing a different type of printer with most of the money I get from selling my van. It will allow me to make much higher resolution prints than even my LCD printer I have now.

Now, I have an idea for treating the prints off of my LCD printer so that you cannot see the "pixels" on my prints, but I've yet to test that idea. 47µm is not large, but even those tiny little blocks are visible on some parts of prints, especially curved surfaces. The other printer won't eliminate layer lines on vertical curves as printed, but they will remove almost all traces on more horizontal curves, plus, the vertical resolution is really high, so the effect of those layer lines will be minimized, as well, and probably a whole lot easier to eliminate using the method I was considering for my LCD printer's output (10µm layer thickness).

It's a DIY laser printer (SLA) for less than half of the price of the well-known SLA printer everyone loves. This printer seems to have some pretty good reviews, too. It's been out a while now, so the system has been pretty well tested at this point.

I feel extremely guilty for this, but I've just asked my doctor for a temporary handicap tag for my car.

Thank you both, but I've seen so many people that need them far more than me.

Yes, I've seen and worked with others that have used their loved-ones' tags and it pisses me off every time.
