Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

My father wanted me to buy him something off eBay because he's not exactly what you'd call internet-smart. Turns out the eBay seller literally just bought it off of Amazon and Amazon sent it to him. The price difference was negligible. In fact, after PayPal and eBay costs, they had to have lost money on the transaction, so why do it? I assume that's their entire business model. Do they take the hit on some products because they profit big off other items?

If it's because it had Amazon or Amazon Prime tape, it's because the seller got that from being a seller on Amazon and is using the tape that I'm assuming they got for free, kinda like when people get UPS label stickers and use them for all shipments even when it specifically says for UPS shipping, only.

I received another letter this morning about dog fouling in my area. Which I thought had stopped because I'd heard nothing more about it. Occassionally, there have been plastic bags of poop lying around on walls outside.

Apparently the local authority have been monitoring the situation for a month. Guess that they still need their narcissistic supply/drama since I went no contact on them.

They downplayed the loud music and various other problems that the same neighbour caused for over two years. (And continues to cause.) Outright refuse to punish them. It's comical that they're now laser focused on rectifying this issue with help from all residents.

I had fun analysing the verbiage of the letter. All I can say is... Not my circus, not my monkey. :nyah:

No, it was literally from Amazon. Tracking shows me it came from a warehouse and it was also delivered by an Amazon driver, but the eBay seller is not an Amazon seller and isn't even based out of this side of the planet.

Wow.

True!! I used to LOVE milk chocolate, I really don’t like it these days. I like dark chocolate almost exclusively.

I am pretty much non-exclusive in my love for chocolate... ;)

I guess my least favourite is white chocolate, but then it’s not really a chocolate anyway, right?

(Besides, “least favourite chocolate” is kinda like saying “most favourite dental procedure”... these things are really only one one side of the like/dislike divide! )

White chocolate is only acceptable in bunny form

I guess you know you're old when your younger cousin becomes a grandmother.

Congrats to her, but jeez!
