Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

True dat.

But in my own defense, I had absolutely no idea that @Fantasy Lover was a woman. But now that I do know, I understand her point.

To wit: In my freshman year of college, one night I was returning from one of my half hearted attempts to hang around frat row. All of a sudden this girl, who was also walking across campus, makes a beeline straight for me and immediately hooks her arm around my waist. She says, "If anyone asks, we're in love. " I knew exactly what she was talking about (she was drunk and didn't want to get caught out there alone). So as we approached the dorm where we both lived, she disengages and says "Okay, we're not in love anymore" and we both laughed it off then went our separate ways.

So yes, I DO get it.
I'm curious now, why did you think I was a guy and how did you find out I was a woman?

Actually it was just that I was really confused by @Avro Arrow's reply (about me getting to take vacations alone because I'm a guy). I had no idea what he was talking about, and then it dawned on me, like "Oh, right......"
and how did you find out I was a woman?
I checked your profile.

And again, @Fantasy Lover, it's not that I automatically assumed you were a dude. More like, I never even thought about it until I prepared to reply to that one question @Avro Arrow asked me. So if I have offended you in any way I am very sorry. :alienblush:

Goddamn I am tired of being blue balled by these UAP hearings.
I got online way too early in the day to watch all of it and nothing was revealed.
Again. FUCK!!!!!

Looked at the article in question and was greatly disapointed to find that a printer's devil is just a person that runs the printer.
Me too, I thought maybe it was going to be something like airplanes and gremlins. Or a superstition about little devils in printers, kind of like the little imps in Discworld's cameras that drew the paintings that came out of them.

It was intended as more of a general point of while that may work well for you, it isn't necessarily realistic for all of us. I wasn't necessarily commenting on @Fantasy Lover's post specifically.

I had no idea what he was talking about
Well do I have a surprise for you... :)

I don't think I actually asked a question. :)

It's okay, I find it amusing

Have a cold bedroom now that it's winter, but I have a problem falling asleep at night if the heat is on and I refuse to get out of bed in the cold morning if the heat is off.

My wife is the same way. We are in an ongoing struggle with the blankets most nights.

Get two twin xl mattresses and push them together. Then each side has it's own bedding and you can cover both with one king xl quilt or blanket if you want to make it look like one bed.
Tried that.

She fell through the gap. Sleep is a battle for her. She resists most medications that can make you drowsy, while being super light and temperature sensitive. She's a literal Goldilocks and every once in a while we find "just right."

Oh yeah, been there.
