Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

After a late dinner with a woman, you follow her to her living quarters in the habitat ring.
She then ask you if you want to come inside for a raktajino. ...
what does that mean exactly? what is implied here?... nothing? only that she like klingon coffe?
or.... does she expect something more?

Asking for a friend

Deep cut for longtime board members that requires present knowledge as well......

Is Stewey's last name Cortez?

If you have a legitimate concern, then the correct course of action would be to report it. Making vague accusations in this thread isn't really cool.

Last night, just before dusk, I was in my house when I suddenly heard birds screaming outside my window. I have lived here 30 years and I have never heard birds scream like that. I ran out and saw 2 bluejays flying around in a panic. I think the neighbor's cat had grabbed their fledgling. I tried to see if I could get it away from the cat but it was too late. The cat started to follow me back to my deck and the irate parents attacked his head. I felt so bad for those birds. The cat didn't seem to be hurt by the attack.

Several years ago this dirty, mangy white cat would come around our neighborhood. I had just watched Die Hard again and he didn't seem like a "John" so we called him "Bruce". The first few times we saw him he would just be dejectedly walking down the sidewalk and a small bird would follow him around. He must have messed with the bird or its family because the bird would dive in and peck him on the butt every once in awhile. I didn't see him again for a couple of months. He started hanging around eating some of my cat's food so we started giving him his own plate.
He came by a few times a week for several months. Someone must have been mean to him. He only let us pet him a little bit once or twice and then he just disappeared. That bird was sure angry at him though.

There was a little Extra after the episode of For All Mankind last night. It's 1983 and a teen boy is complaining about the movie sequel he just saw. It was The Empire Strikes Back.

I laughed so hard I scared the cats!

When you are staring at a tiled floor or wall does anyone else let their eyes cross exactly one tile apart so their brain is tricked into thinking the wall is farther away than it is?

I may have hacked my local McDonald's. It's not something I intended to do, but the last few times I've gone there in the evening and placed a mobile order, my drink is never available because they're either cleaning the machine or ran out of whatever, and to get me out of the drive-thru as quickly as possible, they offer me a substitute drink at no extra cost. Sometimes I've ordered two drinks and one wasn't available, so I just asked for two of the other drink. Most recently, they gave me a milk shake as the replacement. These substitute drinks cost more too, not that 20-30 cents is a big deal.

A new documentary call Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West came out today for purchase/rental today on Amazon Prime, Itunes, Google Play, ect. and on DVD/Blu-Ray that I would encourage everyone to watch.

I always thought that Kira was most likely pregnant for real when she was carrying Miles and Keiko's baby.
Yesterday i wanted to investigate and so i was googling Nana Visitor to see if she had kids.

i was staring at her info page and reading Alexander Siddig's name....
That name sounded familiar to me, so i googled Alexander Siddig.

WHAT??.... Kira was actually married to Julian in real life and they got a kid together???

I HAD NO IDEA!!

=)
