She had such grace and strength in playing Uhura. I wish I could have met her. She was one of a kind in the whole universe.

I loved Zoe Saldana’s take on Uhura as well. She did her good justice in replicating Nichol’s role. I just read an article where she paid her tribute. She said, “My hope is that we continue to keep her memory alive by celebrating her amazing body of work, and by spreading the message of peace and equality amongst all people. She lived a long, impactful life and not only prospered, but helped so many others prosper too.”

I know you're probably being facetious, but it's because the process of "puffing" wheat (and other) grains and "roasting" green coffee beans is very similar and gives them their distinctive appearance.

I got my first Star Trek tattoo when Leonard Nimoy died. I’m going to get a small one in remembrance of Nichelle Nichols’s role as Uhura.

I’m going to get a tiny image of the enterprise NCC-1701. I would like to get some wording with it, see example below of what I’m thinking. I’d like to add a line Uhura says a lot. “Hailing frequencies open” is one of them that came to mind.

Anyone know anything about watch straps? I popped open a buckle to adjust the strap, but now it won't close. I know I'm supposed to apply a little pressure on it, but it feels like I'm pushing as hard as I can and the buckle won't snap into place.
