Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

^Except for ducks. And geese. And quails. And salmon. And trout. And ...

Not to mention flies. We eat fly-eggs all the time and that's why dead people are filled with maggots.

When Louis The X V was dying he was necrotizing inside and they said he was spitting maggots. That is not a good sign.

Hint...whenever I finally get off hold :brickwall: to talk to a customer service rep and if it is a woman, #1 I write down her name; #2 repeat her name; #3 tell her it is one of my "favorite female names...ever!!", old bar lines never go away, they just get recycled.

99% of the time I get a laugh and better and more efficient service to solve my problem. ;)

The item I left in my Amazon cart has now dropped about $5 in price over the last few days. I wonder if now is the time to buy. The third-party seller hasn't lowered their price yet, and if they don't that means Amazon will raise theirs.

In the Massachusetts highways they have signs saying "Don't be like Scrooge, wear a mask".

This is odd to me, because pre-ghost Scrooge would love the opportunity to social distance from all other humans. So the signs must mean not to be like post-ghost Scrooge. Saying, even if you are visited by three Christmas ghosts to open you up to human contact for the first time, you should continue to be curmudgeonly and antisocial. Which might be good advice during a pandemic, but a strange example to use for a public masking message.

They should have said, "Be like Zorro, wear a mask."

And you just know that if they had, then this would have happened...
