I just googled the director Alan Parker, wow he has been behind some excelent stuff, (Pink Floyd The Wall, really?)

Leroy was Gene Antony Ray, his audition scene was fucking brilliant, where he blew his dance partner off the stage
Both of these actors played the same part in the film and television format.

I was hanging a hummingbird feeder when something zipped by my head. I turned around and saw a Red-bellied Woodpecker sitting on the deck rail. He looked me in the eye and went "Chuh!" It seemed like he said "S'up?". Or maybe, "Next time move your fat head"!

Bathtub faucets should more commonly be placed opposite to the shower nozzle. The only inclination I'd ever have to sit & relax in a tub, would be if I could be under warm rain, but the faucet obstructs laying back, making me wonder if that was done deliberately to discourage water waste... not that it would likely waste more water than filling a bath, at least in my case. I've plugged the tub before a shower at times to gauge the water usage, & it's nowhere near enough to bathe in submerged.

(btw, they are called Americans and have been very popular for over 100 years. They are a sort of sponge cake with icing, about 5 inches in diameter. They've always been my favourites =) )

I deleted my Instagram account yesterday. I had it for five years and got tired of the lack of reciprocation. Don't really understand why people followed if the didn't want to get to know me/keep in touch. I feel better for deleting it though.

Agreed here. Another benefit of boards is the segmentation.

On a Facebook group, there's only one stream for everything. So games get posted, memes get posted, political stuff gets brought up, and there's always some people who don't want to see them so you see obnoxious gatekeeper posts like "I'm so sick and tired of seeing people discuss this thing I don't like!"

On these boards, if you don't want to hear about some topic, just don't go to that thread.

Holy fuck, I'm so out of shape. I just came back from a 20 minute power-walk around my neighborhood and feel like I'm going to collapse. On the other hand, it's 93 F out; there's lots of shade here, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad.

I'm in fairly good shape but with the high humidity around here, I won't even go for a walk when it's 82 F+. I just use the gazelle inside while watching a movie.
