I don't know. Didn't Patrick Stewart buy us all tickets to the gun show in First Contact?

Yes, true, but Star Trek still needs more big muscles and could happily do with more big boobs too. :)

Well obviously the size of the species hand would be taken into account. T'Pol's size is dictated by the size of an Orion's green hands.

Tilly is the captain of the ISS Discovery, based on what Stamets said.

They briefly visit an alternate universe where everyone wears brightly coloured uniforms, the lights are turned on and all the buttons are jelly beans.

L'Rell becomes the ship's councilor due to necessity.

("No one would suggest a Klingon would make a good ship's councilor" )

Trek has been about equal rights eye candy since Shatner first mopped off on the way back from the starships gym. And as to ONE female...I see your options and raise you Ro, Kira, Leeta, Rand, Uhura, B’Ellana...countless one off. Remembers including a young Teri Hatcher, Saavik 1, Saavik 2, Valeris, an de since I did see some of ENT, Hoshi.
Individual tastes may vary, but apart from maybe McCoy and Spock, and O’Brien (though he and Spock had their fans) the lead cast of the show has always been in the photogenic range.
DSC...well...I don’t see Tilly as photogenic, while the others all pretty much are, even L’Rell and Cornwell.

My apologies for my lack of specificity. I was speaking of the "main cast" of characters you see in 99% of all series episodes. Yes, I will agree that Leeta, Rand, Uhura, +one offs are present throughout, but I did mean to point out more "constant" characters and "core cast" members.

I should also have pointed out that I was speaking more of physique than facial looks. I know this will upset the Kirk lovers out there, but having seen all of TOS and his shirtless scenes, Shatner in his prime was pretty "average" (physique wise). Just take a look at the two Trills I reference and you'll see the difference that I'm talking about for the men at least.

Also, this has gone pretty far off-topic from the initial random speculation intention of the thread, so I will refrain from posting further here lol. :P

Discovery's producers approached Michael Dorn for playing a role in Discovery. I have the suspicion that he was originally meant to play T'Kuvma. As he declined because of getting not paid well enough for his appearance, the role went to Chris Obi.

I guess T'Kuvma's House was originally meant to be the House of Mogh and may still turn into it at some later point in time.

I guess that's why Korris and Konmell, who might be followers of T'Kuvma's teachings approached Worf and tried to bring him on their side. If he was another Klingon, it might be reasonable to assume that they might not have tried so hard and gave him information that made them vunerable to treachery.

I appreciate the thought you put in.

But this would be yet another step in the direction of small universe syndrome where everybody is linked to everybody else - the galaxy has a population of perhaps quadrillions - the Federation tens of billions at least - the same families showing up time and again are not what I want to see.
