Went to a local comic/pop-culture convention this afternoon where I got to meet and see a handful of pretty well-known actors. Glenn Morsehowser (Aaron Pierce in 24, as well as many cameo roles in 24c-Trek series.), James Tolkan (Strickland in the Back to the Future movies) plus Walter Koeing and Denise Crosby. Had my picture taken with Denise. (I'm often critical of her and her decision to leave TNG and trying to worm her way back in in the aftermath. But, still, she's a nice lady and I did like Yar's character.) On top of that I met "The Cinema Snob" web personality.
There were many other celebrities and such at this con, interesting and fun time. Walter was sort of quiet and closed off, the interaction I had mostly took place with the guy doing the transaction. Walter asked me for my name, etc. and I just said it was a pleasure to meet him and I was a fan of him in Trek.
Glenn was a very nice man, open, and chatted with him for a good long while. Same with Denise, very friendly and warm. It was neat to see her and Walter talk for a bit too.
Autographs from Glenn, Walter and Denise. Didn't get the autograph from Tolkan as at that point I was out of money. But I shook his hand and told him I was a fan of him and his work.
