Was surprised not to see anything on here.. Or maybe i'm blind?

Martin Landau has died.

Sadly, we also lost Martin Landau over the weekend..

Great actor, all around... Space 1999, X-Files (movie), Ed Wood... Simply one of our best, especially in genre..
RIP, sir.. :(

ETA: Just saw a post on this over in TV and Media.. I can remove this one, but I figured since it was SF&F related..

^^ It's okay to have memorial threads in different forums.

Martin Landau was always such a unique and talented actor, and I don't think he really got the credit he deserved until later in life. To me, he will always be Rollin Hand, one of the greatest heroes and adventures in the international spy genre.

RIP, Martin Landau. :(

Good actor.

He had a lot of supporting roles in many major films of the 1950ies and early 1960ies like North By Northwest and Cleopatra.

Loved 'Rolland Hand' in the Mission Impossible TV series (my favorite seasons are with him and Barbra Bain - his wife at the time.)

Loved 'Cmdr. John Koenig' in the Space: 1999 TV series.

And his Oscar was well deserved for his portrayal of Bela Lugosi in the film Ed Wood.

RIP sir, and condolences to his friends and family.
