So I got the news after work on Friday, and went to a private place and called my dad, bawling my eyes out. Kevin Conroy WAS Batman to me, and it felt so surreal, like losing a piece of myself and my dad, because we both used to watch BTAS together when I was a kid. I actually edited this video together just hours after getting the news.
That's a wonderful tribute. Thank you for sharing it.
Kevin Smith uploaded a clip of a recent Q&A where he told some anecdotes of Conroy:
I wanted to play back though the Arkham games in tribute to him, but I seem to have lost the disc for Asylum, so have had to start with City.
The upcoming video game "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" will feature Conroy's final voice work as Batman (who, like the rest of the JL, is possessed by an alien super-intelligence):
