Quick Question: Female Kazon?

IMHO, the Kazon never really "worked" that well for me. They tried to differentiate them, but they really wound up just being the poor man's Klingons (and the similiar physical appearance didn't help).

That is pretty much how I saw the Kazons, as low-grade Klingons (having an incredibly bad hair day).

Have to say, I really liked how they got dissed later on in the series - when Seven told Neelix that the Borg classified the Kazon as not worth assimilation. When the Borg turn up their collective noses at your entire species, that says a great deal.

Made sense, though. Techinically the Kazon are a pre-warp culture that stole what technology they had. The Borg already know how to steal, so what could be gained? ;)

I thought the Trabe were a bit overly maligned,...the Trabe were exploitive jerks in the past but the Kazon were misogynist thugs whose only uniting factor was their (possibly genocidal) hatred of the Trabe. It's no wonder the Trabe would want the Kazon leadership wiped out, if only to allow the remaining Trabe time to at least find a place to live.

My take was that the Kazon and the Trabe deserved each other. The Trabe seemed slightly more acceptable, but that may have just been because they worked harder at seeming reasonable when first encountered by Janeway and Co.
