Question - what's the source of this James Doohan gif?

It appears to be a commercial for ship models. I haven't had luck finding the video or more info about it. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not sure if there's another version of the clip without the white vignetting, or if someone just dimmed it out in the gif. It looks like it might be the latter, but that could just be the compression.

I believe so (hence the color burn at the edges). If I'm not mistaken the vignetting has always been there, including the DVD release.
