Question about soundtrack

Hi everyone.

Does anybody knows the song that plays on the episode S03E19 Requiem for Methuselah around 23:00 minutes ?

I searched for it in about every corner of the internet but was unable to find it.

If someone knows the name of the song, I would really appreciate the information.

Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean the romantic music that plays under the scene where Kirk embraces Rayna? It's theme music written for the show. I don't have my copy of the Music of Star Trek handy, so I can't look up the cue name. Fred Steiner was the listed composer of the episode.

The "Brahms" music Spock plays was written by Ivan Ditmars and is titled "Pseudo Brahms Esq." (source) but is listed in the closing credits as "Brahms Paraphrase".

That cue is by George Duning. It was composed for the episode “The Empath.” (It’s used early in the episode when “Gem” heals Dr. McCoy’s forehead laceration.)

Varese Saraband put out a soundtrack album of music from “The Empath.;” it included the track “Vian’s Farewell/Empath Finale.” That might be track you’re looking for.

We also reused that same clip in our episode "Blood and Fire, Part 2." You can find it at about the 2:30 mark here:
