Question about music in Data's Day

This is probably a long shot. I'd like to obtain a recording of the tune "Isn't It Romantic?" that was used in Data's Day when Beverly was trying to teach Data to dance. Does anyone know if that version of the tune is available on CD or through any other media source? The arrangement and tempo of that performance is perfect for something I'm working on. But I fear that it may have been recorded specifically for the show.

I genuinely have been trying hard to find the exact lush musical score on the Data's Day episode with the "Isn't It Romantic" tune all to no avail . I simply have recordings that I made through my mated tv \ sound system on tape .

Typically when source music like this is used, the producers will simply what is already on hand at the studio and owned by them. That recording might have been used on a previous Paramount production and was thus available in their music library to pull out and use.

That's the thing. It was probably some stock thing they just had on hand at the studio, maybe even recorded by the studio orchestra. I'd think it would be almost impossible to find that exact cut, of such a generic tune & orchestration, recorded at least 25 years ago or more

However! This recording from the Audrey Hepburn movie Sabrina, is remarkably similar. Same tempo. Same key, same general low key, big band, ballroom style & feel. The only real difference is that the main theme is orchestrated a little differently, with the melody being mostly carried by a muted solo trumpet, instead of what sounded like a small saxophone section in the TNG recording. Honestly, it's probably the closest you're going to get. Interestingly enough. Sabrina, also produced by Paramount. They could both be sourced more closely than we know

You can hear this a lot on the Filmation cartoons. On the animated Trek you can hear music that had originally appeared on the 60’s Superman cartoon (and you can hear it on the DVD’s) and other 60’s/early 70’s Filmation shows, and then afterward you can hear tracks from animated Trek on the 70’s “New Adventures Of Batman” with Adam West and Burt Ward.

Yes, this scenario can be the case for both score cues and source music, such as "Isn't It Romantic". I had thought it might be listed either on Memory Alpha and at StarTrekSoundtracks.com, as sometimes these will list specific source pieces used, but in this instance I couldn't find any info. It could be a question I can post at the FSM board, to see if Lukas Kendall or anyone who worked on the Ron Jones box set might know, as they might have access to all the music used and paperwork tracking this, whether composed by Jones or not.

Having exhausted my abilities \ knowledge in searching for this exact version , coming up with nothing , I truly appreciate your efforts , plus I appreciate all of the other thoughtful responses !
