Question about a couple of Vulcans

When I recently visited Memory Alpha I saw an article on the Vulcan T'Plana-Hath who was supposed to be "a matron of Vulcan philosophy". I was wondering what, if any, connection she had with Surak.

One ascends to a summit; one does not use a summit to reach a higher point.

Cement is the thing which holds together disparate items to form a structure useful for some other goal, such as ascending from chaos.

Nope. The question appears in English, on the computer to the right of screen in the movie. It's "cement", if I squint really hard.

Okay, yesterday I checked the novelization, because I knew it had several extra questions not in the movie, but it didn't have the Vulcan one. So I ran the DVD, and squinted.

But I have a script here now and it clearly says, "Who said, 'Logic is the cement of our civilization with which we ascend from chaos using reason as our guide'?"

Has it ever been said when T'Plana-Hath was supposed to have lived? There's another page on Memory Alpha that says Vulcans first began to suppress their emotions around 2600 B.C., which suggests Surak revived that practice rather than invented it.
