Queen + Paul Rodgers at Mendela's Party

I wasn't much interested in watching this, but as I was flicking past the channel Q+PR were on. My God! They absolutely rock! They did barnstorming work on 'Tie Your Mother Down', and 'The Show Must Go On' was deep and heartfelt. Right now they're blitzing 'All Right Now'.

Okay, it's very much a 'best of', and Freddie is a huge talent to try to replace. But this band is a complete rock beast! And Rodgers is the original Rock Singer. If they can get their act together and record an album of new material (which I heard last was a definite possibility) it could be very, very good for classic rock types like m'self.

Any thoughts?
