Quark vs. the Jem'Hadar!

Has anyone ever noticed that Quark never ever seems to miss when he fires at a Jem'Hadar with a phaser rifle or disruptor? And it usually only takes him one shot! I count three times this has happened: (1) In The Jem'Hadar, when he does it to protect Sisko, (2) In Sacrifice Of Angels, when he and Ziyal break Rom, Jake and Leeta out of the holding cell, and (3) In The Siege Of AR-558, when he does it to protect his injured nephew Nog!

If I were a Jem'Hadar, I'd think twice about crossing this particular Ferengi barkeep in some back alley! :guffaw:

Really. He shoots better than Worf-an honorary member of the A-Team, who couldn't bull in the butt from 2 paces.

When Quark's life is at stake, his senses are razor sharp and he has nerves of steel, or Latinum. Except when clouded by the fog of love, of course.

Quark is a highly proficient man at everything he puts his mind to doing, so it does not surprise me that he's really good at shooting. One thing I love about Quark is that he appears like a cowardly typical Ferengi on the surface, yet every time he has to step up to the plate and be brave and risk his life, he does so willingly. Including massacring Jem'Hadar.

I think Quark also has highly enhanced hand/eye coordination and reflexes which was developed from years of rapidly groping Dabo girls in opportune places as they quickly pass by him while working. :D

The Jem'Hadar are less interesting versions of Klingons.

Quark is the multifaceted hero of DS9.

Obviously, as the hero, he can kill the insipid villains. Any questions?

Well the other Quark was sure handy with those whip things.

Maybe those Ferengi are better warriors than people give them credit for?

What really impressed me was how Quark, holding a phaser in each hand, nails two Jem Ha'Dar soldiers square in the chest.

I mean, firing a gun in each hand at the same time is hard enough, but hitting both your targets dead center? That's one HELL of an aim.

He must've been a lousy cook when he served on a Ferengi trade vessel to become such a good marksman

^^
Yeah, that's right. I almost forgot! I believe he even said as much to Odo in The Way Of The Warrior. So there you go, then!
:guffaw:

Those are also the only times in the entire series that he fires a weapon, so his aim is 100%! :)

IIRC, the jailbreak in "Sacrifice of Angels."
