I agree with Arpy. The "Q" can do anything, even revive a dead person. It's really more a matter of snatching them from the moment of death and bringing them out of harm, rather than resurrecting them. As to whether or not they'd do it, that's dependent upon the long term effects from the resulting path choices.
The "Q" seem to have their own ideas about interfering with destiny. Q introduced Picard and his crew to the Borg, only because it would happen eventually... but the Q gave the humans an advantage they wouldn't have had otherwise. A chance to prepare. True, it wasn't that long, but enough. The Federation survived. Why? Well, a completely Borg dominated universe would be boring to the "Q". That was justification enough for them.
