Q&A and Before Dishonor

Quick question, I've been out of the loop lately on the TNG novels.

So are Q&A and Before Dishonor set after the Resistance timeline or are they just side stories within the original TNG tv series? (I haven't read Resistance either, but recently purchased it)

because I just edited the FAQ: linky, scroll down to "What is in the future for Star Trek: The Next Generation?" ;)

Q & A picks up after Resistance and Before Dishonor picks up after Q & A. And next year's Greater than the Sum will pick up after Before Dishonor, and the Destiny trilogy will pick up after Greater than the Sum.

Cha cha cha.

One more question guys, "The Sky's the Limit". Are any of the Enterprise-E stories set post Resistance?

Nope. Two of the double-E stories are during the Dominion War (Geoff Trowbridge's "Suicide Note" and my own "Four Lights"), one is set in the weeks leading up to Nemesis ("'Til Death" by Bob Ingersoll & Thom Zahler), and two take place during the epilogue of Nemesis, while the ship was being repaired ("On the Spot" by David A. McIntee and "Trust Yourself When All Men Doubt You and I Have Touched the Sky" by Michael Schuster & Steve Mollmann-with-two-N's :D).

"THERE ARE TWO N'S!!!"

One of my friends once told me that he remembered how to spell my name by sticking in two of everything. Which you would think would cause you to end up with something like "Moollmaann", but whatever.

As a side note, I titled one of the files for working on our The Sky's the Limit stories "the sky's the limit - meet with triumph and disaster - trust yourself when all men doubt you.doc", solely in an effort to see how much I could aggravate my co-author and editor.

And the confusing thing is that "Trust Yourself..." takes place earlier than "On the Spot" even though it follows it in the book. At least, judging by their respective references to how long the E-E has been in spacedock and how far along its repairs are.

How does 'Til Death related to the A Time To... books?

^ Probably the best place to slot it in would be between A Time to Hate and A Time to Kill.

That would be my assumption, too.

As originally outlined, "Trust Yourself When All Men Doubt You" occurred during the seventh season of TNG, so you got off easy. :p It could have been much worse!
