Put you as your avatar!

Why is everyone so good looking? :shifty: They are your real photos aren't they
Yeah, but I'm not good looking  I'm actually starting to like my looks now, seeing as the piiiiiillz I'm taking is making me loose weight and make me feel better about myself. Gonna wait until midsummer and then some new pics will arrive of my improved visage.

Oh and:

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

:guffaw:

"Stop saying that"

Look forward to the pics but you're lovely to me already Emher :adore:

Flux, it's been driving me crazy for quite a while now ...you remind me of someone, but i haven't been able to come up with who exactly. I think i figured it out now. I think its the actor Edward Norton that you remind me of.

That Fizzini, he like to fuss....

Thank you! That is who he looks like.

Haha, oh man...if I had a nickel. I actually have a pretty eerie comparison pic to back up your claim. No wonder I get it all the time.

I also get that I look like Russell Crowe all the time. An employee in a video game store felt he had to stop me and inform me of this one night.

140x140 pixels or 70 KB (whichever is smaller).

Just as a follow-up to this...I highly suggest keeping it to 140x140.

You can upload a larger pixel size as long as it's under 70 KB but then the TrekBBS software just shrinks it back to 140x140 and it come out looking fuzzier than if you'd just shrunk it to 140x140 in the first place!

I did a bunch of experimenting with this...trust me, just making it 140x140 is the best thing to do.

Here's a sample of an earlier version I was working on:

If I make it 140x140 before I upload it then the TrekBBS shows it exactly as I saved it. But if I just upload the 180x180 file the site compresses it down and you get the example on the right, which looks much worse.

As we end avatar week I'd like to thank you all for playing along! I'm changing mine to Lady Gaga soon. A bit of a shift, no?

Holy crap. I was wondering why mine looked so fuzzy. Thanks for the heads-up, SWC.
